Here's How We Can Help You

Fine and Gross Motor Skill Development

Motor skills include both fine and gross movements. Fine motor skills involve small hand movements for tasks like writing, buttoning, and using utensils, building hand strength, control, and coordination. Gross motor skills involve larger movements like running and jumping, building strength and balance.  Using age-appropriate activities to help improve strength,  coordination, and challenge movement planning for both skill types.

Self Regulation and Sensory Processing

Children learn to control their emotions and behavior, so they can stay calm and react well in different situations. It also supports how their nervous system takes in and reacts to sights, sounds, movement, and touch, helping them respond appropriately and feel more comfortable.

Activities of Daily Living

Children are supported in learning everyday self-help skills like dressing, toileting, eating, and grooming to build independence and confidence.

Vision Skills

Helping strengthen the connection that the brain has with the eyes. Therapists use specific activities to increase hand-eye coordination, tracking, and visual motor skills for everyday activities like throwing a ball, stacking blocks, doing puzzles, coloring, stringing beads, using zippers, tying shoes, and handwriting.

Cognition and Executive Functioning

Cognitive and executive functioning skills help children focus, remember, plan, and solve problems. By addressing delays and increasing mental endurance, children can improve in areas like attention, working memory, problem-solving, and organizing tasks—leading to better learning and daily functioning.

School Skills

Children build the skills they need to do well in school—like cutting, holding a pencil, writing, paying attention, completing tasks, and following daily routines. It also supports emotional control, and handling sensory input like noise and movement in the classroom.
